# Mewah Translator vs BBnotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: BBnotes at every 3 days against Mewah Translator's every 9 days. Mewah Translator's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 9) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mewah Translator sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and BBnotes sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Mewah Translator against 4.4 for BBnotes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mewah Translator has 48 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of Mewah Translator's written reviews are positive against 100% of BBnotes's.

Mewah Translator ships an update every 9 days, BBnotes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
