# Radius Resident vs Cortland Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Radius Resident at 100% against Cortland Connect's 50%. Radius Resident also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Cortland Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cortland Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cortland Connect has 5.1K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Radius Resident's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cortland Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Radius Resident ships an update every 11 months, Cortland Connect every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
