# TV Set vs Smart Player

The clearest difference is rating: Smart Player at 5.0 against TV Set's 3.7. Smart Player also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). TV Set's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Set sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Smart Player sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Player holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Set has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
