# tc vs Dubnote

The clearest difference is rating: tc at 5.0 against Dubnote's 4.5. tc also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6). Dubnote's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 33%) and ratings volume (164 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dubnote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. tc asks for nothing beyond the download.

tc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dubnote has 164 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of tc's written reviews are positive against 65% of Dubnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
