# TechApp by Shop vs Quickmechs

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Quickmechs at 100% against TechApp by Shop's 50%. TechApp by Shop's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TechApp by Shop holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 4 respectively.
