# Simple Handwritten Note vs Infinity Sketch

The clearest difference is rating: Simple Handwritten Note at 5.0 against Infinity Sketch's 3.7. Simple Handwritten Note also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Infinity Sketch's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (75% vs 50%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Simple Handwritten Note holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Infinity Sketch has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Simple Handwritten Note's written reviews are positive against 75% of Infinity Sketch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simple Handwritten Note ships an update every 3 months, Infinity Sketch every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 7, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
