# Homework Helper & Math Solver vs SolveX

The clearest difference is rating: SolveX at 4.6 against Homework Helper & Math Solver's 3.7. SolveX also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (642 vs 6). Homework Helper & Math Solver's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 36%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Homework Helper & Math Solver sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SolveX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SolveX holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SolveX has 642 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Homework Helper & Math Solver's written reviews are positive against 36% of SolveX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
