# OffScript vs Ramble

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ramble at every 5 days against OffScript's every 2 months. Ramble also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 10). OffScript's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 74%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OffScript sells 19 one-off in-app purchases and Ramble sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for OffScript against 4.9 for Ramble. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ramble has 1.3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of OffScript's written reviews are positive against 74% of Ramble's.

OffScript ships an update every 2 months, Ramble every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
