# OffScript vs RSVP Social

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RSVP Social at none against OffScript's 19. RSVP Social also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). OffScript's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OffScript sells 19 one-off in-app purchases. RSVP Social asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for OffScript against 5.0 for RSVP Social. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OffScript has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

OffScript ships an update every 2 months, RSVP Social every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
