# AMB vs S

AMB and S both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of AMB's written reviews are positive against 0% of S's. AMB also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

S holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of AMB's written reviews are positive against 0% of S's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AMB ships an update every 3 weeks, S every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
