# Persian 101 vs Learn Persian For Beginners

Persian 101 and Learn Persian For Beginners both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Persian 101's written reviews are positive against 27% of Learn Persian For Beginners's. Persian 101 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Persian 101 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Learn Persian For Beginners sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn Persian For Beginners holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 52 and 89 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Persian 101's written reviews are positive against 27% of Learn Persian For Beginners's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
