# FTN vs Glow by Rose

FTN and Glow by Rose both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Glow by Rose's written reviews are positive against 55% of FTN's. FTN's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (350 vs 17). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FTN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Glow by Rose sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for FTN against 4.8 for Glow by Rose. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FTN has 350 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 55% of FTN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Glow by Rose's.

FTN ships an update fortnightly, Glow by Rose weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
