# Self Love Meditations vs Current

The clearest difference is update cadence: Current at every 2 weeks against Self Love Meditations's every 16 months. Self Love Meditations's advantage is ratings volume (37 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Self Love Meditations sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Current sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Self Love Meditations against 5.0 for Current. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Self Love Meditations has 37 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Self Love Meditations ships an update every 16 months, Current every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
