# Brightspeed vs ROCS Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ROCS Connect at 50% against Brightspeed's 4%. Brightspeed's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 3) and rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brightspeed holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brightspeed has 3.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Brightspeed's written reviews are positive against 50% of ROCS Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brightspeed ships an update every 2 weeks, ROCS Connect fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
