# AromaTech vs Scentiment 2.0

The clearest difference is rating: Scentiment 2.0 at 1.8 against AromaTech's 1.3. Scentiment 2.0 also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (66 vs 6). AromaTech's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scentiment 2.0 holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scentiment 2.0 has 66 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of AromaTech's written reviews are positive against 8% of Scentiment 2.0's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AromaTech ships an update every 2 months, Scentiment 2.0 every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
