# GigWorx vs Instagig

The clearest difference is rating: GigWorx at 4.3 against Instagig's 3.8. GigWorx also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Instagig's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GigWorx holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of GigWorx's written reviews are positive against 100% of Instagig's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GigWorx ships an update fortnightly, Instagig every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
