# Chat AI vs mChatAI

Chat AI and mChatAI both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of mChatAI's written reviews are positive against 58% of Chat AI's. Chat AI's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat AI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and mChatAI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mChatAI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chat AI has 15K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Chat AI's written reviews are positive against 100% of mChatAI's.

Chat AI ships an update monthly, mChatAI every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
