# Chat AI vs ChatWise

The clearest difference is rating: Chat AI at 4.7 against ChatWise's 1.0. Chat AI also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 32 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 1). ChatWise's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat AI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. ChatWise asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chat AI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chat AI has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Chat AI ships an update monthly, ChatWise every 32 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
