# Chat AI vs AI Notebook

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AI Notebook at 100% against Chat AI's 58%. AI Notebook also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). Chat AI's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat AI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and AI Notebook sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Notebook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chat AI has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Chat AI's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Notebook's.

Chat AI ships an update monthly, AI Notebook every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
