# Captain D's vs CurbCraze

The clearest difference is ads: Captain D's at none against CurbCraze's shown. Captain D's also leads on ratings volume (36K vs 2) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). CurbCraze's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CurbCraze holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Captain D's has 36K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
