# BatChat vs CloudLand

The clearest difference is rating: CloudLand at 5.0 against BatChat's 3.5. CloudLand also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). BatChat's advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BatChat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. CloudLand asks for nothing beyond the download.

CloudLand holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BatChat has 101 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BatChat ships an update every 2 weeks, CloudLand every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
