# BatChat vs 瑶瑶

The clearest difference is rating: 瑶瑶 at 5.0 against BatChat's 3.5. BatChat's advantage is ratings volume (99 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BatChat sells 27 one-off in-app purchases and 瑶瑶 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

瑶瑶 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BatChat has 99 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BatChat ships an update every 2 weeks, 瑶瑶 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
