# Pencil Planner vs Briskly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pencil Planner at every 3 weeks against Briskly's every 2 months. Pencil Planner also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pencil Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 3 months and Briskly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pencil Planner ships an update every 3 weeks, Briskly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
