# TOP VPN vs V2Box

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TOP VPN at 82% against V2Box's 46%. TOP VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown). V2Box's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TOP VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. V2Box asks for nothing beyond the download.

V2Box holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: V2Box has 99K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of TOP VPN's written reviews are positive against 46% of V2Box's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TOP VPN ships an update every 5 weeks, V2Box every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
