# Readay Novel vs HotNovel

The clearest difference is ads: Readay Novel at none against HotNovel's shown. Readay Novel also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). HotNovel's advantage is ratings volume (217 vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readay Novel sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and HotNovel sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readay Novel holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HotNovel has 217 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
