# Space Trip vs Rocket

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rocket at every 5 weeks against Space Trip's every 6 months. Space Trip's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Space Trip ships an update every 6 months, Rocket every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
