# Memopad vs QuickNote

The clearest difference is ads: QuickNote at none against Memopad's shown. QuickNote also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Memopad sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and QuickNote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Memopad ships an update every 2 months, QuickNote fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
