# Timer vs Acid Interval

The clearest difference is rating: Acid Interval at 5.0 against Timer's 4.4. Acid Interval also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Timer's advantage is ratings volume (442 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Acid Interval sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Acid Interval holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timer has 442 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
