# Package Hub vs Package Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Package Hub at 5.0 against Package Tracker's 4.6. Package Hub also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Package Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Package Hub sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Package Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Package Hub holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Package Tracker has 56 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Package Hub's written reviews are positive against 27% of Package Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Package Hub ships an update monthly, Package Tracker every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
