# WithMap vs OpenRelationship™

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WithMap at 100% against OpenRelationship™'s 37%. OpenRelationship™'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (824 vs 4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OpenRelationship™ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpenRelationship™ has 824 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of WithMap's written reviews are positive against 37% of OpenRelationship™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WithMap ships an update monthly, OpenRelationship™ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
