# PDF Converter © vs Simple Journaling

The clearest difference is rating: Simple Journaling at 5.0 against PDF Converter ©'s 4.5. Simple Journaling also leads on ads (none vs shown). PDF Converter ©'s advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Converter © sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Simple Journaling sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple Journaling holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Converter © has 101 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PDF Converter © ships an update fortnightly, Simple Journaling every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
