# Cheshmak vs Lacto

The clearest difference is ads: Lacto at none against Cheshmak's shown. Lacto also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Cheshmak's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lacto holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cheshmak has 1.1K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
