# Kitchen Notebook vs Cookback

The clearest difference is device support: Cookback at 4 against Kitchen Notebook's 2. Cookback also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kitchen Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cookback sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
