# Alpaca Master3 vs Papers please

The clearest difference is rating: Alpaca Master3 at 5.0 against Papers please's 4.3. Alpaca Master3 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). Papers please's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (33% vs 4%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alpaca Master3 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Papers please asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alpaca Master3 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Papers please has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 4% of Alpaca Master3's written reviews are positive against 33% of Papers please's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
