# Drum Chart Builder vs PHASE Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: PHASE Connect at every 4 days against Drum Chart Builder's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drum Chart Builder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and PHASE Connect sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drum Chart Builder ships an update fortnightly, PHASE Connect every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
