# Western Smart Life vs TOUCHMATIK

The clearest difference is update cadence: TOUCHMATIK at every 2 months against Western Smart Life's every 4 months. TOUCHMATIK also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Western Smart Life ships an update every 4 months, TOUCHMATIK every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
