# Amex KSA vs Amex Expense

The clearest difference is rating: Amex KSA at 4.7 against Amex Expense's 4.0. Amex KSA also leads on ratings volume (365 vs 11). Amex Expense's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 26%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amex KSA holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amex KSA has 365 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Amex KSA's written reviews are positive against 50% of Amex Expense's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Amex KSA ships an update fortnightly, Amex Expense every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
