# Finpaw vs Nexus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Finpaw at 100% against Nexus's 17%. Finpaw also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). Nexus's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nexus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Finpaw asks for nothing beyond the download.

Finpaw holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nexus has 90 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Finpaw's written reviews are positive against 17% of Nexus's.

Finpaw ships an update every 6 weeks, Nexus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
