# Rocket Stores vs Turntables

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Rocket Stores at 2K against Turntables's 37. Turntables's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Rocket Stores against 4.9 for Turntables. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rocket Stores has 2K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rocket Stores ships an update every 6 months, Turntables every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
