# 0.3MP Camera vs EraCam

The clearest difference is update cadence: EraCam at every 3 days against 0.3MP Camera's monthly. 0.3MP Camera's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 0.3MP Camera sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and EraCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EraCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 0.3MP Camera has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

0.3MP Camera ships an update monthly, EraCam every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
