# ChatU Live vs M

The clearest difference is rating: ChatU Live at 5.0 against M's 4.4. M's advantage is ratings volume (310 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatU Live sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and M sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatU Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: M has 310 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ChatU Live ships an update every 2 months, M monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
