# iSee Home vs Security Home

The clearest difference is rating: Security Home at 4.3 against iSee Home's 2.5. Security Home also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 48) and review sentiment (19% vs 11%). iSee Home's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iSee Home sells 31 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Security Home sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Security Home holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Home has 11K ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of iSee Home's written reviews are positive against 19% of Security Home's.

iSee Home ships an update monthly, Security Home every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
