# Ghost detector vs Ghost detector

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ghost detector at 100% against Ghost detector's 0%. Ghost detector also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 43 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Ghost detector's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (148 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ghost detector sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ghost detector sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ghost detector holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ghost detector has 148 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Ghost detector's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ghost detector's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ghost detector ships an update every 43 months, Ghost detector weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
