# DLVGuide for Dreamlight vs Pal Guide

The clearest difference is ads: DLVGuide for Dreamlight at none against Pal Guide's shown. DLVGuide for Dreamlight also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 44%). Pal Guide's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.3 vs 3.9). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DLVGuide for Dreamlight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pal Guide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pal Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pal Guide has 180 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of DLVGuide for Dreamlight's written reviews are positive against 44% of Pal Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DLVGuide for Dreamlight ships an update every 2 months, Pal Guide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
