# Wipr 2 vs Control Mark

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wipr 2 at 80% against Control Mark's 0%. Wipr 2 also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 1). Control Mark's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On ads, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Wipr 2 costs $4.99 and Control Mark $0.99 up front. Wipr 2 sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Control Mark asks for nothing beyond the download.

Control Mark holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wipr 2 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Wipr 2's written reviews are positive against 0% of Control Mark's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wipr 2 ships an update weekly, Control Mark every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
