# Resprite vs Orange Chart

The clearest difference is rating: Resprite at 4.7 against Orange Chart's 3.9. Resprite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 8). Orange Chart's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resprite sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Orange Chart sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resprite holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resprite has 1.5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Resprite's written reviews are positive against 75% of Orange Chart's.

Resprite ships an update every 5 weeks, Orange Chart every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
