# Resprite vs VirtualTablet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VirtualTablet at none against Resprite's 5. VirtualTablet also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). Resprite's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 2). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resprite sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. VirtualTablet asks for nothing beyond the download.

VirtualTablet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resprite has 1.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Resprite ships an update every 5 weeks, VirtualTablet every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
