# Opal Chat vs ChatBot Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Opal Chat at every 2 days against ChatBot Pro's every 5 weeks. Opal Chat also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). ChatBot Pro's advantage is ratings volume (281 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Opal Chat sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and ChatBot Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
