# Scent Tech vs Scent Online

Scent Tech and Scent Online both sit at 2.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Scent Online's written reviews are positive against 14% of Scent Tech's. Scent Tech's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.2 for Scent Tech against 2.3 for Scent Online. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scent Tech has 63 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 14% of Scent Tech's written reviews are positive against 67% of Scent Online's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
