# Eco vs New Gate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Eco at none against New Gate's 1. New Gate's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. New Gate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Eco asks for nothing beyond the download.

Eco ships an update every 7 months, New Gate every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
